ENSO Society is a newly established non-profit organization based in Kelowna that is actively bringing mindfulness and meditation programs to Kelowna and Western Canada. We offer programs for adults and youth for reducing stress, working with difficulties and waking up in our lives.
At a time when mindfulness and meditation are being adapted institutionally and diluted commercially, we will identify and work with new leaders to create leading edge practices and applications that are rooted in tradition, alive in this era, serving to meet the needs of our time.
Deeply engaged, contemplative and responding to ideas, we are spiritual practice with a socially active purpose of cultural awakening. We invite daily practice into daily domestic life, environmentalism and social action.
We wish to support outstanding teachers and forward thinkers of our time, throughout Canada and right here in Kelowna.
In the midst of all, we encourage our community to stop, to sit down right in the middle of our lives, settle, be awake, and support each other. We support time on the meditation cushion in our homes and together in community practice.

SUPPORTING ENSO SOCIETY
As we actively bring mindfulness and meditation practice and education to adults and teens throughout Kelowna and Western Canada, it is important to notice the multitude of ways many people have contributed and continue to give generously to the successful growth of Enso Society and Community. Our registered charitable organization consists of Guiding Teachers, the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, Leadership team, countless volunteers and practicing members. Our people are the generous and gifted foundation of Enso efforts. Countless hours of dedication to website operation, graphic design, program development/operation, fundraising, administration, baking for teen programs, transporting meditation cushions, organizing Sitting In Silence Practice, lending free practice space, and board of directors work are provided through volunteer time.
Generosity is a natural, mature, personal moral orientation to life. Available to everyone, it can be expressed in the dedication of one’s time, finances and formal practice with one and other. It requires a little bit of courage, strength, gentleness and fairness.
Your financial generosity supports Enso Society in providing on-going programs for teens and adults, it has vibrancy and impact on community, strengthens numbers of people involved and future direction of our service and care.
